Will Spire send a disconnect notice? ›

If we must send you a disconnection notice, you will receive this communication via U.S. Mail.

We may, at times, call about your bill. If you receive a phone call from someone claiming to be with Spire and you feel unsafe, just hang up and call us. We issue all of our workers—even third-party contractors—Spire badges. Don't be afraid to ask for one.

Bill payment: pay online with a debit card, credit card or bank account. Auto Pay: a worry-free way to pay your bill with automatic monthly payments deducted from your bank account or credit/debit card. Paperless Billing: save paper by receiving bills electronically, to your email.

Registration is quick.

You can register in three simple steps: Provide your gas account number, or look up your account number with your social security number, the address where you receive gas service, and your ZIP Code. Once you submit your registration form, we'll send you a confirmation email.

If your port out request was rejected because your account was pending disconnect, that means there's a pending action on your number that needs to be addressed. In most cases, you can sign in to your account and pay your bill.

A disconnection notice is sent with their monthly statement advising them that their account is past-due and urging them to make a payment or payment arrangements. Several services are available to help customers avoid service disconnection.

Spire Retirement Plan

Not as good as the old pension plan that was offered but it is still nice to have some kind of retirement program. Currently a cash balance retirement plan where Spire will match a % of your salary based on your age. Fully vested after 3 years of service.
